Dark Mode

The most requested feature for our iOS app is finally here—Dark Mode. Now, when you have your system's theme set to Dark Mode, the TextNow app will support it.

Bonus: If you only want the TextNow app to be in either Light or Dark mode, regardless of your phone's system settings, you can now toggle the app's theme independently:

Open the TextNow app's menu (=)
Tap on "Settings" -> "Appearance"
Choose which mode you'd like the app to be in

Scheduled Send (iOS)

Plan ahead and stay on top of communications with Scheduled Send. With this new feature, you can draft a message whenever it’s convenient and have your text delivered exactly when you want—from a midnight “happy birthday” to a Monday morning reminder.

How to schedule a message:

Type your message
Press and hold the send button
Pick the date and time you’d like it delivered

That’s it! If anything changes, you can delete your message before it sends.

Conversation Search (iOS)

Find what you need, faster with improved Conversation Search. Whether it’s a forgotten birthday, a shared photo, or the name of that restaurant from last summer, you can now search across all your messages and media without endless scrolling.

With a more intuitive design, smarter filters, and the ability to search even contacts you haven’t messaged yet, finding the right info has never been easier.
