2011
What’s cooler than a million users? Fifteen million. We’re as motivated as ever by this milestone to keep evolving.
2014
Our patented Elastic Calling technology is born, allowing a seamless switch between Wi-Fi and cellular networks for calls.
2015
We prove borders aren’t limits and go global by introducing international calling as a service to over 100 countries for free.
2016
Hey, USA! We plant our flag south of the border with our first satellite office in downtown San Francisco.
2020
We break the rules again and change the game by launching free nationwide talk & text.
2022
The team grows to over 200 employees and we host our All-Hands event in Mexico for the first time.
2024
TextNow becomes the first and only wireless provider to offer essential data for free.
2026
Expanded our wireless network and introduced eSIM support, making it even easier for customers to connect. Reached $1 billion in lifetime revenue.
