Managing Your TextNow Account

If you’re new to TextNow, or just need a refresher, take a minute with us and learn how to manage your TextNow account.
Where is My Account?
On the mobile app, you’ll find your account under the My Account section, just under your phone number on the TextNow main menu. Online, you’ll find it on the left-hand menu after you log into your account:
Tap on My Account to open the My Account page:
Whew, that’s a lot of options! Let's go through what all these options mean
Right at the top of that page you’ll see two tabs: Account, and Support. We’re on the Account page right now, tapping Support will bring you to our support options page.
Account balance: Pretty self-explanatory. Any unspent money in your account will be shown here. Your account balance can be used to purchase international long-distance credits.
My Plan: The TextNow Wireless plan you’re currently on.
My Add-ons: Any add-ons you’ve purchased for your account will be shown here. You can also upgrade or downgrade your plan by tapping on your current plan. (Note that in this example there are no purchased add-ons, so we only see the Additional add-ons section.)
Additional add-ons: Other optional add-ons you can purchase for your account will be shown here.
Payments: This section shows your method of payment (if you have one), as well as your purchase history. You can change your method of payment by tapping on Payment Methods.
Manage device: Here’s where you can swap your service to another compatible device or activate a replacement device.
Phone Number Transfer: Start a porting request or get information to port your number out of TextNow.
Cancel: And finally, you can cancel your wireless subscription here.
