Aleksandra Baran (She/Her) Vice President of Accounting and Business Operations
As VP Accounting and Business Operations, Aleksandra is responsible for TextNow’s financial functions including accounting, auditing, treasury, taxations, payroll, and financial reporting.
What is the most powerful lesson you’ve learned (professionally or personally)?
Make every moment count because time is short, and you never know what the next day brings and remember that the power to create the life you want is 100% up to you.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Be kinder to yourself, practice self-care and better work-life balance, be more courageous.
Who has inspired you and how/why?
My father inspired me the most in life. He was my biggest supporter and role model who taught me to be kind, thoughtful, generous, honest, and responsible, the values he lived by every day. Regardless of any difficulties in life, he taught me to never give up, always believe in myself and showed me that success comes from hard work.
What is your motivational mantra?
Hard work pays off.
What do you do to make yourself feel strong and empowered?
To feel empowered and strong, I always have something to look forward to and a "prove it to yourself" attitude.
Some great advice from Aleksandra! A great reminder that life is short, and we could all use a little more courage to carpe diem! Check out the rest of our women’s leadership spotlight series ✨
