
These instructions will generally work for most models but do not provide 100% certainty that your device is unlocked. Since there are many different types of Android phones, the only certain way to know if your phone is unlocked is by trying to use another SIM card, or calling your carrier

Open the Settings App on your mobile device

If you can search and open Developer Options, skip to Step 5
3.
If you do not see developer options in the search, open the About Phone page close to the bottom of your settings.

Scroll all the way down, tap on Build Number 7 times. A confirmation message should appear.
5.
Use the settings search to open Developer Options, then scroll down to the OEM Unlocking row. If this row is not grayed out, your device is unlocked.

Look for the Carrier Lock row

If the row says No SIM Restrictions, then your mobile device is unlocked
